7Bit Arcade Podcast
The semi-official podcast for 7Bit Arcade
YetUnknown - Episode 2 - Sexy Petrol
July 06, 2011 04:26 AM PDT
After finally nailing down our first episode, Ben & Adam decide to venture back into the topical world of scripted storytelling to talk to you about Jack Bauers inability to die, the annoyance of working in retail and how Wimbledon will once again be forgotten.
Movies take a forefront as we look ahead to the Transformers films and Ben hits on the Green Lantern ( not literally ) as he dissects the superhero genre with what he thinks is right and wrong.
Also on the sporting front, we consider what it would be like to play Baseketball whilst the fact that Adam went to Glastonbury is severely looked over like a clean shaven man at a beard contest; Instead we consider why Budweiser needs to be knocked down a few levels as it really is not 'the king of beers'.
So if you fancy hearing two young adults discussing their humorous opinions on life and hearing sublime saxophone solos, whilst being heckled by an audience of helpers, then join in and enjoy the ride that is YetUnknown.
YetUnknown - Episode 1 - Trials and Tribulations in the Basement
July 06, 2011 02:06 AM PDT
The first podcast in Volume 1 of YetUnknown is out and it is a culmination of many hard hours of grafting, thinking and considering what should and shouldn’t be in an audience based podcast.
In this, what seems to be, Muuuuder special, we talk about Midsomer Murders, Taggart and Adam really gets his grill of about the unknown logistics of Jonathan Creeks elaborate setups.
We embrace the new podcast setting of Adam’s downstairs bar by inviting who and whatever along to share their two pence pieces. Separated by various saxophone solos, witty banter and Ben Cordell’s addictive laugh, YetUnknown is sure to raise a smile on the harshest of faces.

Episode 5 - Based on Lies
February 23, 2010 12:45 PM PST
OMGWOWHI and welcome to another episode of the famous 7 Bit Arcade.
In this board game special, we recruit the help of board game connoiseur Christopher Boakes who shares his wry view on how video game could be turned into fully fledged board games.
We wonder how the moderator on xbox live gets away with banning people, Stevie rants again and among other things, this podcast see's the return of Eden who ignites proceedings with his dry banter and almost chaos inducing comments.
All the usual features are in the bag as is the now famous ramble time, which includes Australia, Motion Control, Banning, Milo, Wrestling, Mass Effect 2, and more.
Episode 4: Gamers Have Souls
February 05, 2010 10:12 AM PST
Its the fourth episode of the 7Bit saga and this time its business. Marvel as we manage to go 12 whole minutes without lowering the tone. We solve the problem of the infamous red ring and dispute whether monkeys prefer flags or bananas. In a new feature, Spanjj reviews a game live on the show and we ramble about iPads and map exploring. Eden's absence causes the abuse to be fired in all directions in this manageable chunk of audio joy. Topics include: Burnout Paradise, Susan Boyle, Split Second, Microsoft Points, Gerbil Physics, New York, Fuzzies, Ticks, I Dig It, Breasts, MAG, Tumbleweed, Heavy Rain, iPads, AVP, Apocalyptos, Bayonetta, Vienetta, Bioshock 2, Milo and Sonic 4.

Episode 2: A Dope Ass Castle
December 21, 2009 04:04 AM PST
On the 12th day of Christmas Santa said to me, make a podcast consisting of three.
So that is what we did.
The Multi Award winning sequel to 7 Bit Arcades pilot podcast is full of so much more entertainment, one could not shake a stick at it even if one did have a stick to shake at it.
In this weeks episode expect Rap Offs, Forza 3, Terrorism, Red Rings, Modern Warfare 2 mixed with Animal Hospital and features on the newest games including Stevie getting his teeth into Dragon Age and further anarchic banter.
Angela is away this week so the boys decide to create a virtual Angela to help fill in those gaps where men are not being testosterone fueled. Also, for the first time ever, they decide to stream the podcast live on justin.tv for everyone to see.
7Bit Audio Cast - Episode 1: A New Hope
December 04, 2009 09:02 AM PST
7Bit Arcade's big debut, the most anticipated thing since sliced bread. Introducing Stevie, Adam, Eden and Angela (Spanjj) chatting on games they've played this week.
Featured games include Field Runners, Modern Warfare 2, Borderlands, Left For Dead 2, Fallout 3 and Fat Princess.
Tangents include Peggle, Tron, Crimewatch and Cake.
Eden is reprimanded for slipping back into World of Warcraft. Spanjj cack's herself in the Five Minutes of Fear section playing Dead Space. We all talk on the man who completed WoW and games we've '100%'d' ourselves.
The abuse flies thick and thin in this EXPLOSIVE first episode to the 7Bit campaign. Enjoy!
7Bit Arcade is hosted by Ben Tyrer, Callum Alexander and Matt Mace, three students who are currently studying Journalism at Bournemouth Uni. And by studying, we mean shambling through.
Each episode you can expect the biggest news to be discussed, features that will make you stroke your chin with excitement and the (yet to be) award-winning 7 Bit mastermind.
We are YetUnknown, and what we plan to call ourselves is unknown to us and those around us. We pride ourselves on our audience based podcast where instead of it being two fools on a microphone, it is two fools on a microphone with a intelligent and coherent audience.
